Overview
ESNA offers professional resources for you or your organization’s Service – Learning experience. Our team has been involved with Salvadoran communities for over 20 years sharing in efforts to improve community quality of life as well as delivering an excellence level of immersion for those who travel with us.
Our support includes Service- Learning experiences for high schools, colleges, and small groups. We also provide custom travel experiences for independent groups, such as medical delegations, Rotary Clubs and churches.
What does a trip look like
Trips will be custom tailored to each group’s objectives.
Group Size:
ESNA supports small groups from three to thirty people. The optimal size is ten to fifteen people since this provides excellent one-on-one interaction opportunities with the ESNA team, translators and the community.
Length of Stay:
Length of stay is dependent on group objectives. ESNA recommends a minimum of seven days, allowing a full day for travel on either side of the trip. A ten to fourteen day trip provides an optimal interactive experience while allowing for education and personal time.
Trips will include three components:
- Education and exploration of the El Salvadoran history and culture
- Work and interaction with rural community members of all ages
- Rest and renewal as you visit some of the beautiful places of El Salvador
